Through prayer and thoughtful consideration, county and state advisement, and input from parents and staff, LCS is planning to reopen for the 1st Day of School on September 8th. We will also provide a virtual option for families who choose to stay home.
We'll continue to educate scholars while prioritizing the well being of every person who walks into our building. Here are a few changes to expect this year: social distancing, mask requirements, screenings of all persons who enter the building, no large gatherings, and additional and appropriate cleaning services.
To help with this cause, we are trying to raise $100,000 to purchase computers and technical equipment for every student and more desks for social distancing in classrooms, cleaning equipment and personal protective equipment, as well as have some funds available to help families in need with the purchase of student uniforms.
